Ronin Jiu Jitsu is a laid-back Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school built around fundamentals, strong principles, and getting better together without the hardcore gym atmosphere.

Build a game that works because the basics are solid.
Serious about learning, and everyone is welcome.
We treat our gym as a lab, where we help each other try new things.
We’re not competition-focused and we’re not trying to build a room where every round feels like a championship final. We want people to understand Jiu Jitsu deeply, practice good principles, challenge themselves, and enjoy showing up.

Whether you are completely new, returning after time away, or already experienced, the goal is the same: improve your understanding, sharpen your movement, and become a better training partner.
You do not need to be in shape first, know the terminology, or understand what everyone else is doing. We teach from the ground up.
We emphasize posture, position, leverage, control, timing, and decision-making so techniques fit into a larger system.
Live training matters, but the point is improvement. Good rounds leave both people with something useful to take away.
Promotion nights, technical rounds, visiting training partners, plenty of laughs, and the occasional lesson learned the hard way. This is what the room actually looks like.

We like to train outside our own room. Visiting other schools exposes us to different styles, reactions, personalities, and ideas. It keeps us honest and gives us new problems to solve when we come home.
That spirit of exploration is part of the Ronin name: keep moving, keep learning, keep sharpening the craft.
Call or text us. Tell us you are interested and whether you have trained before.
We will help you know what to wear, where to be, and what to expect when you arrive.
Jiu Jitsu is a long game. Progress comes from steady practice, curiosity, and good training partners.
You do not need to commit to becoming a competitor. You do not need to be tough before you walk in. Just bring some curiosity and be ready to learn.
